We at Penny Waterman School Of Dance Ltd are providing classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Street Dance and Musical Theatre for both children and adults. When we first established in 1979, we had just a handful of children and since then, we have grown into a renowned school of dance who offers quality classes and excellent teachers. Our very popular childrens classes are stimulating yet provide a healthy and fun environment for them to exercise and express themselves. Each of our classes are designed to help children develop their physical skills, stamina, creativity, expression and musicality. Plus our classes are set to lively and entertaining music to help encourage good rhythm and a positive response from the children.
We offer a wide range of classes from junior to senior classes, children to adults, tiny tots to Ballet with mum classes – we do it all! We believe that dance is best learnt from an early age to give children a good stance and a certain grace which tends to be carried with them as they grow up. Our adult classes are designed to help individuals lose weight, tone up and keep fit, develop flexibility, co-ordination and balance as well as a way to socialise and have fun.
Dancing is a great way to not only improve your fitness but to also encourage your creative expression and deportment. We perform “watching” days for parents at the end of every term so they can come and see how their child is thriving. Plus we put on regular theatre production shows to help the children develop self confidence as self-esteem is very essential to a child’s emotional development. We praise and encourage all of our pupils to develop and help them learn.
