We at Hitchin Motorcare Ltd are professional and friendly motor specialists who are offering a range of services from repairs and servicing to used car sales. We mostly specialise in Japanese models, servicing them and selling them but we do offer a range of low mileage Nissan and Japanese vehicles for sale too.
We have a four bay workshop facility on site plus a fully equipped ‘while U wait MOT’ testing bay. So you can bring in your car and we will see to it while you wait in our comfortable waiting room where you can take a look at our selection of reading material and enjoy either a coffee or tea, whilst, if you what, having a chat!!. We try to get to your car as soon as possible so that you can get back on the road once again.
Our door is always open to everyone!! Whatever the need – we can help! We can even see and discuss matters that concern you.
Prior to previous experience in Nissan, Fiat, and Renault Local Group dealerships at senior levels, founders John and Mark decided to start up Hitchin Motorcare Ltd to specialise in the repair of Japanese vehicles and over time they have invested in the appropriate equipment to enable correct procedures when working on these particular vehicles.
Our team are fully ‘City and Guilds’ qualified motor engineers and always work to the highest standard in everything they do! We will treat your vehicle as if it was our own so you should be rest assured that will take the greatest care when dealing with it. We are proud members of the Institute of the Motor Industry. We abide to their code of practice and are part of the IMI Professional register too. We are now very pleased to say that we use VALVOLINE lubricants in all our servicing.
Even though we specialise in Nissan and other Japanese and Korean motors, we are also pleased to welcome other makes and models for repairs and service. We ensure that all our repairs and servicing work is done to a high standard to maintain our fantastic long term reputation through genuine customer satisfaction. We also know how busy the lives of customers are, so to help you, we can send you a reminder when your next service or MOT test is due.
We offer a fixed rate on servicing vehicles no matter what the make and model is. Our workshops are fully equipped with the latest technology, such as the “One person testing hoist” that allows us to make the best use of our team and to book you a time that is convenient to you.
We also have advanced diagnostic equipment which helps us to identify quickly any problems so we can keep your car on the road.
