The Bushey museum are now displaying the works of colourists from talented local artists from Hubert von Herkomer and Lucy Kemp Welch through to the present day.

St Albans Cathedral – Anne Frank+You Exhibition
2020 is the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, the death of Anne Frank and the end of World War 2. To commemorate these historic events, the Cathedral will be hosting the Anne Frank + You exhibition.This thought provoking travelling exhibition explores Anne Frank, her diary and the Holocaust and how they highlight contemporary injustices. Far from being just about historical facts, the exhibition also explores how issues such as racial hatred, the value of freedom and education play out in the modern world. The Anne Frank Exhibition will be in the North Transept from Thursday 23 January until Thursday 20 February. Apple Day
Celebrate all things apple! At our Apple Day Harvest. Tewin Orchard.Between 12pm-4:30pm. Apples for sale along with apple juice, preserves, tea, coffee and cake. Apple Day is celebrated across the UK in October as a celebration of orchards but also a demonstration of the variety we are in danger of losing. Experts will be on hand to identify varieties of apple and provide advice on fruit tree care. There are guided walks around the orchard and traditional craft demonstrations. Also joining will be the conservation groups and local craftspeople.
